So, as part of their continued effort to clean the market of counterfeit or unauthorized merchandise, they’re looking for any excuse to ask for invoices. This can only mean one thing: that they want to be certain of the quality of items sold on Amazon. It’s the first time Amazon have asked for invoices to investigate a ‘Used sold as New’ complaint. If we receive more complaints about your listings, we may not allow you to sell on Amazon. We will review your information and decide whether to reinstate your listings. We will maintain the confidentiality of your supplier contact information. You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the information must be visible. We may call your supplier to verify the documents. These documents must be authentic and unaltered. ![]() Contact information for your supplier, including name, phone number, address, and website. These should reflect your sales volume during that time. ![]() Copies of invoices or receipts from your supplier issued in the last 365 days. Include the following information for each ASIN complained as Used Sold as New: The listings we removed are at the end of this email. We removed some of your listings because of buyer complaints about the items they ordered from you. ![]() This has never been more obvious than when we came across this latest type of performance notification: Lately, Amazon have been increasingly adamant that all items (New or Used) be backed up by proper invoices. ![]()
